Arab Foreign Ministers have reiterated strong support for Al-Quds Committee, chaired by King Mohammed VI, hailing the key role played by the Committee in defending Al Quds and Maqdissi inhabitants.

In a resolution adopted during the 163rd meeting of the Arab League ministerial council convened Wednesday in Cairo, the ministers lauded the efforts made by Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency, the executive arm of the Al-Quds Committee, in favor of the Palestinian people and for preserving the Arab and Islamic identity of the Holy city.

The Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency continues to improve the living conditions of the Maqdissis through economic, social, housing, educational, and cultural projects that directly address the needs of the residents.

During their meeting, the Arab FMs discussed latest regional and international developments, including the situation in Palestine, as well as major political and socio-economic challenges facing the Arab world.

Regarding the situation in Libya, the Arab ministers reiterated support for the Skhirat Agreement, signed in 2015, as the general framework for a political settlement to the Libyan crisis.

They also reviewed preparations for upcoming Arab Summit, scheduled for May 17 in Baghdad.
