Morocco’s OCP Africa launches agricultural service centers in Rwanda

OCP Africa, a subsidiary of Morocco’s OCP Group, recently launched an Agricultural Service Centers project in Rwanda, with a view to supporting small farmers and boosting productivity in this East African country.

This transformative initiative was launched in partnership with the Rwanda Fertilizer Company (RFC) and the international NGO Cultivating New Frontiers in Agriculture (CNFA). The initiative, providing for the creation of 7 Centers across the country, is part of US Agency for International Development (USAID) “Feed the Future” initiative, OCP Africa said in a post on social platform X.

The seven Agricultural Service Centers will grant Rwandan farmers rapid access to essential inputs and services, directly supporting small farmers and boosting agricultural productivity, OCP Africa explained.

These Centers have potential to increase agricultural productivity, strengthen sustainability, and support sustainable economic development in Rwanda.
