Morocco to strengthen defense cooperation with Azerbaijan, Czech Republic
Morocco signed two military and technical cooperation agreements with Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic covering areas of training, defense industry, technical assistance, exchange of expertise, military health and cybersecurity.
The agreements were signed in a ceremony attended by minister delegate in charge of defense Abdeltif Loudiyi, Moroccan Army Commander of the Southern Zone Mohammed Berrid, Czech Defense Minister Jana Černochová, and Azerbaijani Defense Minister General Zakir Hasanov.
Both Czech and Azerbaijani ministers emphasized the high priority of their partnerships with Morocco, praising the Kingdom’s economic and social development. They highlighted Morocco’s role as a dynamic and stable force in the Euro-Mediterranean and African regions.
The defense ministers expressed their commitment to strengthening these relationships through the implementation of the agreements and regular exchanges of visits by officials.
