King congratulates Morocco futsal team for winning 2024 AFCON Title

King Mohammed VI sent a message of congratulations to the members of the Moroccan national futsal team who won, on Sunday in Rabat, the Futsal Africa Cup of Nations-Morocco 2024.

In his message, the King expressed to the members of the futsal team his warm congratulations for winning the 7th Futsal Africa Cup of Nations, hosted by capital city Rabat, with hospitality and an unparalleled organization.

The Sovereign also expressed his great pride in the firm determination shown by the members of the national team to win, for the third time in a row, this continental title, driven by exemplary patriotism and serious commitment to promote Moroccan football and sport.

Reiterating congratulations to the members of the team and all technical and administrative executives of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, the King prayed the Almighty to grant them greater success and awards during the 2024 World Cup in Uzbekistan, and crown with success their sustained efforts to climb the highest steps of the podiums on continental and international levels.

The 2024 Futsal African Cup of Nations was held in Morocco April 11-21. The tournament ended on an exceptionally high note on Sunday, after an exhilarating final that opposed Angola and Morocco, the holder of the title, who trashed Angola 5 to 1 and won its third cup in a row.
