Tunisia: Minister of Social Welfare survives road accident

Malek Ezzahi, Tunisia’s Minister of Social Welfare survived Monday January 1 a road accident which also involved his family, state-run radio broadcaster reported.

 

The incident occurred on Monday afternoon. Ezzahi and his daughter reportedly sustained many injuries in the accident deemed serious. The broadcaster did not provide further details.

 

Ezzahi was appointed in November 2021 member of the Cabinet.
The 44-year old man is one of the longstanding ministers of President Kais Saied’s administration. He was the coordinator of Saied’s campaign in Manouba governorate.
