Morocco strongly condemns Israeli bombing of hospital in Gaza Strip, calls for protecting civilians
Morocco has strongly condemned the bombing by Israeli forces of the Baptist Hospital in the Gaza Strip that left hundreds of Palestinians dead and injured.
The condemnation was expressed in a statement released Tuesday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Morocco “strongly condemns” the bombing by Israeli forces of the Baptist Hospital in the Gaza Strip, and reiterates its call for ensuring that civilians are protected by all parties and not targeted, the ministry said in the statement.
Morocco, whose Sovereign, King Mohammed VI, chairs the Al-Quds Committee, stresses the urgent need for the concerted efforts of the international community to stop hostilities as soon as possible, respect international humanitarian law, and endeavor to avoid new escalation and new tensions in the region.
Morocco had expressed deep concern at the outbreak of military action in the Gaza Strip on October 7 and condemned attacks on civilians wherever they Are.
