Morocco, Russia celebrate 65th anniversary of establishment diplomatic ties

Morocco and Russia are celebrating this week the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two states.

Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov exchanged congratulatory messages on this occasion.

The messages reaffirmed commitment to enhance and deepen the multidimensional and mutually beneficial cooperation between Morocco and Russia, the Moroccan Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The two senior officials reiterated the shared will to maintain effective coordination in matters related to foreign policy, so as to serve regional and international security and stability.
