King Mohammed VI sends written message to Emir of Qatar

King Mohammed VI has sent a written message to Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

The message focuses on ways to strengthen and develop bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, reports the Qatari News Agency, QNA.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, Deputy Emir of the State of Qatar, received the royal message on behalf of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, during a meeting on Monday at the princely cabinet with Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Bourita, and Minister in charge of the Budget, Fouzi Lekjaa.

During the meeting, Bourita conveyed the King’s greetings to his brother Sheikh Tamim and to Sheikh Abdullah, and his wishes for good health and well-being of their Highnesses and for the development and progress of the Qatari people.

For his part, the Deputy Emir conveyed to Bourita the greetings of the Emir of Qatar and his own greetings to King Mohammed VI, and their wishes for the Sovereign’s good health and happiness and for further progress and prosperity for the brotherly Moroccan people.

The meeting provided an opportunity to review ways of bolstering the strong fraternal ties binding the two countries and to examine a number of issues of common interest.
