King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), has appointed Major General Mohammed Berrid as Inspector General of FAR, Commander of the Southern zone, in replacement of Lieutenant General Belkhir El Farouk, the Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery announced, Saturday, in a statement.
The Sovereign decorated Lieutenant General Belkhir El Farouk with the Grand Cordon of the Wissam Al Arch, in consideration of his distinguished professional career and the commendable services he rendered in the service of the Throne and the Homeland, the statement said.
