Morocco reopens stadiums to fans
The Moroccan government said fans can return to stadiums after months of closures to curb Covid-19 infections.
The decision came ahead of a decisive match opposing Morocco to DRC as part of World Cup qualifiers.
Fans will however have to show vaccination proof, wear face-masks and observe social distancing.
The decision came amid a trend towards easing restrictive measures that have been imposed to curb Omicron wave.
Morocco registered 362 new cases on Feb 24, down from an average of 9000 cases in December.
On the vaccine front, 24.7 million people have taken the first dose, 23.18 million the second dose and 5.65 have been inoculated with a booster jab.
