Royal Air Maroc wins Award of Best Airline in Africa

Morocco’s flag carrier, Royal Air Maroc, has been voted the best airline in the African continent by the Global Traveler magazine following its 2021 GT Tested Reader Survey, asking travelers to name the best airline, airport, hotel, and travel services.

The trophy was handed over to the Moroccan airline at a ceremony organized lately by Global Travel Magazine in Los Angeles. The Ethiopian Airlines ranked second in Africa followed by Kenya Airways, Air Seychelles, and Air Mauritius.

“We are pleased and honored to receive this prestigious award and to be recognized as the best airline in Africa. This recognition comes directly from our customers around the world. It is a reward for the daily efforts made by our employees and partners to deliver the highest standards of service, safety and comfort”, said RAM’s CEO Hamid ADDOU.

“This Global Traveler Award motivates us to continue to move forward and improve, despite the difficult times our sector is going through”, he added.

In 2019, Royal Air Maroc was elected the best regional airline in Africa for the sixth consecutive time. The Moroccan airline maintains its 4-star Skytrax label, a global reference in air transport.
