Morocco’s Business Delegation to visit Israel in Mid-December

A Delegation of Moroccan businessmen will travel to Israel Dec.12-15 to explore joint partnership opportunities and enhance economic cooperation between Morocco and Israel after the normalization of their relations last year.

The visit will be made on the occasion of the opening of new air route between Casablanca and Tel Aviv as the two countries are building up strong foundations of their multiform cooperation ties based on common interests.

The Moroccan business delegation will be led by Chakib Alj, Head of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM). It will include more than 70 economic operators representing various sectors including tourism, industry, agriculture, technology & innovation, education, health, finance & insurance, renewable energy, retail and textiles.

During their working visit, the Moroccan businessmen will meet their Israeli peers, take part in an Israeli-Moroccan economic forum and visit several industrial & agricultural sites.

The announcement of the trip of the Moroccan business delegation to Israel was made on the sidelines of the visit Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz is paying to Morocco.

This first-ever visit by an Israeli Defense Minister was crowned with the signing of a MoU aimed at enhancing cooperation between Israel and Morocco in the fields of defense, cybersecurity, intelligence, joint military training and defense industry.
