Morocco-Pakistan: 1st Special Forces Counter-Terror Exercise

Units from Moroccan and Pakistani Special Forces held lately a joint exercise in Pakistan within the frame of bilateral cooperation ties and exchange of experiences between the two countries in the fight against terrorism.

 

During this first-ever joint exercise, the two countries special forces conducted various drills in counter terrorism operations including cordon and search, compound clearance, close quarter battle, fast roping, rappelling and combat medics, said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media & public relations service of Pakistan’s army.

 

Besides sharing mutual experience in counter terrorism, the training aimed at rehearsing and adopting best practices and enhancing cooperation between the two armies, said ISPR in a press release.

 

The closing ceremony of the exercise was held at Pakistan’s National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC), in Pabbi.
