King Mohammed VI has sent a message of condolences and solidarity to President Joe Biden, following the passage of Hurricane Ida which struck the northeast of the United States, causing significant human and material damage.

In these painful circumstances, the Sovereign expresses to the American President and, through him, to the grieving families and to the friendly American people, his deep condolences and his sincere feelings of solidarity and compassion, imploring the Almighty to grant patience and comfort to all.
