Moroccan elected Vice-President of Association of Mediterranean Energy Regulators
The President of the Moroccan Electricity Regulatory Authority Abdellatif Bardach was elected Vice-President of the Association of Mediterranean Energy Regulators (MEDREG).
This came during the 30th General Assembly of MEDREG held remotely on Wednesday.
The General Assembly also elected the members of the Presidency Council, composed of the President and three Vice-Presidents, for the 2020-2022 period.
Petrit Ahmeti of the Albanian Energy Regulator was elected as President; Stefano Besseghini of the Italian Regulatory Authority of Energy, Networks and Environment was elected as Permanent Vice-president; while Moroccan Abdellatif Bardach and Egyptian Karem Mahmoud (Egyptian Gas Regulatory Authority) were picked as Vice-presidents.
The 30th General Assembly also elected the new Presidency of the various working groups of the Association of Mediterranean Energy Regulators.
