Morocco starts making its own thermal cameras

Morocco maintains its industrial effort to meet its needs of anti-covid equipment with the recent breakthrough of an SME that managed to make a prototype of thermal cameras that can be produced en masse.

After ventilators, masks, infrared thermometers, protective gear, testing kits, intensive care beds, Moroccan engineers from the Nextronics start up made a 100% Moroccan thermal camera that is set to be commercialized in October.

The project, spurred by the industry ministry, measures body temperature and can issue alarming sound if someone was not wearing a face-mask.

The camera is designed to be used in places visited by a large public such as commercial centers, administration buildings, hotels, restaurants, etc.
