Coronavirus: Moroccans called to voluntary confinement
Moroccans have been called this Wednesday to stay home and restrict their movements.
In a joint statement, the Interior and Health Ministries have called for voluntary isolation, urging the citizens to stay at home and limit their movement.
Going out should be conditioned by absolute necessity, to make essential purchases, to go to the doctor or to go to work, the statement said.
This new measure is part of a set of other preventive measures adopted by Authorities to limit the spread of the COVID-19 in the country, at a time the number of COVID-19 cases reached 49.
Seven new positive coronavirus cases were announced on Tuesday and five this Wednesday.
The novel Coronavirus has so far killed two people in Morocco wherein the majority of confirmed cases were brought in by travelers coming mainly from Spain, Italy and France.
