Two police officers were killed and another injured on Monday in an attack on a police station in the Tillabéri region in western Niger.
Armed men, riding a dozen motorcycles, carried out the assault.
Other attacks reported in the regions of Diffa (southeast) and Tillabéri (west), between Thursday and Friday killed at least thirteen people and injured several.
These attacks are imputed to the Islamic State group. The number of victims of terrorist attacks in the Sahel region is much higher than the figures disclosed officially.
