Morocco: New Director for Royal Protocol and Chancellery

King Mohammed VI has appointed Abdelali Belkacem Director of the Royal Protocol and Chancellery.

The announcement was made by the Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery in a statement made public Friday.

King Mohammed VI has appointed Abdelali Belkacem, Special Advisor to the Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery, Director of Royal Protocol and Chancellery, the statement said.

Abdelali Belkacem replaces Abdeljawad Belhaj who was appointed to the position in 2010.
