Three Tunisians arrested in Morocco for drug trafficking
Security authorities at Mohammed V airport in Casablanca Tuesday nabbed three Tunisian citizens, two women and a man, for their involvement in drug trafficking.
The two women, aged 36 and 50, were arrested in the check-in hall, the national police directorate (DGSN) said in a statement.
Searches revealed that the duo were concealing in their underwear 745 g of chiral in the form of 132 capsules.
A third trafficker was arrested later as the search continued. He had swallowed cocaine. He was sent to hospital for treatment after he vomited the drug, according to the statement.
Earlier this month, a Nigerian citizen fell prey to the security forces after he was suspected for hiding cocaine. Upon arrest, his vomited 1,540 g of the drug.
Another operation in December also nabbed a South-American citizen and a Namibian who puked 3,700g of cocaine hidden in their bowels.
