King Mohammed VI Expected in Guinea Conakry Wednesday

King Mohammed VI is expected in Guinea Conakry on December 20, in a second visit in 2017.

During his friendship and working visit to Conakry, the King will hold talks with Guinean President Alpha Condé, the current Chairman of the African Union.

The two leaders will inaugurate several projects that were launched during the King’s previous visit to the West African country, notably those relating to vocational training in construction jobs and tourism.

During the King’s previous visit to Conakry last February, Morocco and Guinea added yet another milestone to their longstanding cooperation ties with the signing of eight cooperation agreements covering notably urban planning and agriculture.

The West African country is part of the Africa Atlantic Pipeline project, which will catalyze regional integration and boost energy security by channeling Nigerian gas through the Atlantic coast up to Morocco and maybe to Europe.
