Crédit Agricole du Maroc, Best Performing African Development Finance Institution in 2017
The Association of African Development Finance Institutions (AADFI) crowned Crédit Agricole Du Maroc, as the Best Development Finance Institution (DFI) in Africa in 2017.
“Crédit Agricole Du Maroc” came ahead of 33 best-performing DFIs in the continent ranking first on the 2017 AADFI Honor Roll.
The Moroccan bank was distinguished for its performance regarding AADFI standards, prudential devices and evaluation systems, the bank said in a statement.
More than 80 African financial institutions were in the running. The evaluation criteria for this award are good governance, financial soundness and commercial efficiency.
The Association of African Development Finance Institutions (AADFI) is an international organization established under the auspices of the African Development Bank (ADB) in 1975. It brings together banks and financial institutions involved in financing development for the public and private sectors in Africa.
