Will Morocco Hire Bangladesh workers in healthcare, agriculture, ICT…?

President Mohammed Shahabuddin has called on Morocco to hire more skilled and semi-skilled Bangladeshi workers in different sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, infrastructure development, ready-made garments, textiles, and information and communication technology (ICT).

The president came up with the call as newly appointed Moroccan Ambassador to Bangladesh Mrs. Boutina El Kerdoudi El Koulali presented her credentials to him at Bangabhaban on Tuesday, President’s Press Secretary Sarwar Alam told Bangladesh news company BBS.

The head of state said both Bangladesh and Morocco have immense potential for expanding trade and investment relations. He stressed the importance of exchanging high-level government and private-sector visits of trade and investment delegations to further strengthen bilateral ties.

During the meeting, President Shahabuddin described the existing relations between the two countries as excellent and steadily growing stronger. He thanked Morocco for its support at various international forums regarding the repatriation of forcibly displaced Myanmar nationals to their homeland.
