Rabat-Nouakchott Military Axis Makes Algerian Regime Extremely Anxious

President of Mauritania Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani received on Tuesday in Nouakchott Inspector General of Royal Armed Forces & Commander of the South Zone, Lt. General Mohamed Berrid,
who is leading a high-ranking military delegation to this neighbouring country.

The visit of the Moroccan military delegation is part of the Morocco-Mauritania Joint Military Cooperation Committee. It aims to strengthen security coordination and address challenges in the Sahel-Sahara region.

It also reflects military coordination between the two neighbouring countries and the strengthening of cross-border security cooperation at a regional and international scene marked by uncertainties, armed conflicts and geopolitical shifts.
