Canada’s Aya Gold & Silver Inc. has announced high-grade silver drill results from its at-depth drill exploration operations at the Zgounder Silver Mine in Morocco.
“The high-grade results once again confirm the strong continuity of silver mineralization both at depth and around the open-pit area,” said Benoit La Salle, President & CEO in a press release.
“Moreover, the new intersection at depth near the Western Fault contact in hole ZG-SF-25-340 extends mineralization further west, continuing to push the boundary of our current resource model”, added Head of the Canadian firm.
Zgounder Silver Mine is the company’s flagship, a wholly-owned (100%) producing asset, located in the Anti-Atlas Mountains. A major expansion to increase processing capacity from 700 to 3,000 tonnes per day was recently completed, with commercial production at the new facility declared in December 2024. The mine produces high-quality silver doré bars.
The company has an aggressive, ongoing exploration program with several other properties in Morocco, including the Zgounder Regional, Tirzzit, Imiter bis, Azegour, and Amizmiz permits.
Aya Gold & Silver Inc. is a precious metals company focused on the exploration, development, and operation of silver and gold projects in Morocco, primarily its producing Zgounder Silver Mine.
