Moroccan-Guinean military cooperation reviewed at a meeting in Rabat

Various aspects of Moroccan-Guinean military cooperation were reviewed at a meeting held in Rabat Tuesday between visiting Guinean Minister of State for National Defense Army General Aboubacar Sidiki Camara, and Minister in charge of the National Defense Administration, Abdeltif Loudyi, and Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) and Commander of the Southern Zone, Army General Mohammed Berrid.
The meeting explored ways to expand this cooperation and elevate it to match the partnership relations that bind the two countries, the National Defense Administration said in a statement.

General Camara emphasized the high priority of the partnership with Morocco and took this opportunity to express his admiration for the various South-South and regional cooperation initiatives in favor of Africa, launched under the leadership of King Mohammed VI. These initiatives have made Morocco a dynamic actor for stability, progress, and peace in its neighborhood, particularly in Africa, he said.

During the meeting, the two parties expressed their shared ambition and willingness to further strengthen and diversify their cooperation in the military field, to reflect the relations of friendship and mutual respect that unite the two countries, the statement said.
