Morocco, Pakistan poised to bolster security partnerships

Morocco and Pakistan have voiced their shared commitment to bolster security partnerships in various areas of mutual interest.

This determination to enhance security cooperation was expressed by Abdellatif Hammouchi, Director General of Morocco’s National Security and Territorial Surveillance (DGSN/DGST), and Muhammad Sami-ur-Rehman, the Ambassador of Pakistan to Morocco, at a meeting they held on Wednesday in Rabat.

The meeting, as reported by a security source, reviewed various security issues of mutual interest and strategies to bolster cooperation across different security realms, aligning with the shared interests of the two nations.

The meeting underscored the dedication of the Moroccan security agencies and their joint efforts to implement a spectrum of bilateral and multilateral security initiatives, aiming at fortifying international security collaboration.

According to the security source, the meeting and dialogue with the Pakistani diplomat reflect the unwavering resolve of Moroccan authorities to accommodate all cooperation requests, the objective being to reinforce security coordination between Morocco and its diverse network of brotherly and friendly nations.
