Three Malagasy companies to launch maritime company connecting Antananarivo to Marseille

Cooperative Energetique ENERCOOP, Enterprise Zephyr & Boree and ARCADIE will launch in 2025 a maritime company that will connect the country to the French city of Marseille in view of boosting trade, Actu Orange reports.
The three partners have launched Windcoop Cargo, a joint venture, expected to begin operation in 2025. The route will be operated by a 85-meter-long vessel, a cargo. The company is also planning to add new ships and routes customized for clients. The trip for the future route will take 35 days. The vessel is friendly to the environment as it emits less than 724 tons of carbon.
