Moroccan Police Arrest Two Dutch Contract Killers Involved in Marrakech Shooting

Less than 24 hours after the horrendous crime that cost the life of an innocent medicine student in a popular cafe in Marrakech, the Moroccan police managed to arrest the two Dutch assailants.

A statement of the Moroccan police said that investigations led to the arrest of two Dutch nationals, natives of Dominican Republic and Surinam respectively, who were hired to kill the owner of La Crème café.

The two hired killers are wanted by justice on charges of contract killing, hostage taking and drug trafficking

The criminals missed their target as the owner of the café left his place minutes before the shooting happened to the misfortune of the Medicine student and his companion who was injured along with two other customers.

As soon as he learnt about the news, the owner of the café fled to Casablanca where he was arrested along with 5 other suspects linked to the attack.

This is the first time that the Moroccan police deals with foreign contract killers, commissioned to kill on the Moroccan soil.

The murder was reportedly commissioned by a Moroccan living in the Netherlands, because of a dispute with the owner of the café, who also has connections with the Netherlands, Moroccan media said.

The murder was therefore a settlement of accounts against the backdrop of international criminal networks linked to the Netherlands.
