Football: Moroccan Hussein Amouta, New Coach of AlAhly

Moroccan Hussein Amouta has been reportedly named new Head coach of Egyptian club AlAhly. The Moroccan coach is expected to rebuild the club’s tactical balance and pursue domestic and continental honors after recent transitional seasons.

Amouta, 57, is known for his tactical adaptability, youth development, winning mentality, regional experience, ability to unite mixed squads of local and foreign players and competition Strategy.

He is also known for his success in Arab and regional club competitions as well as winning domestic titles. Amouta served as Head of Jordan’s national football team, AlSadd club (Qatar) and AlJazira (UAE).

Besides Amouta, several other Moroccan coaches have been hired by numerous clubs and national teams in Africa and Arab world. These include Jamal Sellami (Jordan), Badou Zaki (Niger), Rachid Taoussi (Liberia)…
