Chinese Medical Technology Group Builds its 1st African Plant in Morocco

Chinese firm Jiangsu Aishelun Medical has launched construction works of its first African manufacturing plant at the Mohammed VI Tangier Tech City which is attracting a growing number of investors.

The €20 million facility will produce medical consumables like surgical gowns, ice packs, surgical kits, protective medical devices and infection-control supplies destined for the European, Middle Eastern, and African markets.

The plant enhances Morocco’s medical device ecosystem, leveraging Tangier’s proximity to Europe and the Kingdom Free trade agreements signed with EU, the United States, Arab and African countries.

The Chinese group specializes in the design, production, and marketing of paramedical products, medical consumables, and infection-control supplies.

Listed on the Beijing Stock Exchange, the company has a total of 31 patents.
It handles both manufacturing and international trade through global networks, including specialized subsidiaries like Excellent Medical Technology Co, Lt. in Hong Kong and InnovMed Tech Group in Morocco.
