MOROCCO & U.S. STRENGTHEN STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP FOR REGIONAL & GLOBAL PEACE

Morocco is emerging, under the leadership of King Mohammed VI, as a reliable partner and a global peacemaker in the New World Order taking shape.

Building on its strong strategic partnership with Washington, its growing military capabilities and competitive industrial ecosystems, Rabat takes on a key role in the new international paradigm, bringing in seismic geopolitical change.

The invitation extended by President Donald Trump to King Mohammed VI to join as a founding member of the Peace Council is a clear acknowledgement of the royal leadership and the King’s stature as an important actor of peace.

The King, chairman of Al Quds Committee, has accepted Trump’s offer to join the International Peace Board tasked with resolving conflicts around the world, including the Middle-East conflict. This is powerful recognition of Morocco’s pivotal role in global peace and conflict resolution initiatives.

The United States has chosen a select group of reliable countries including Morocco to take seat at the Peace Council to support the stabilization of Gaza, but ignored Algeria which voted for the American plan at the UN, sending a strong message to the Algerian regime and its backers, members of the axis of evil.

Trump has invited only peacemakers and trusted partners, not hysterical military regimes or rogue states. Morocco, which chairs the Al-Quds Committee, maintains constant channels of dialogue with all regional stakeholders. It has always advocated a balanced approach based on the protection of civilian populations and political solutions. In the current turbulent international world, this constructive approach makes the Kingdom a natural partner for any credible peace initiative.

The American recognition of Morocco’s leadership, the Kingdom’s role in the Middle-East and beyond has knocked out the Algerian junta which lashed out at the U.S.-led Peace Initiative though they supported it at the UN.

This inconsistency sums up Algerian diplomacy: voting for an initiative on the international scene, then denouncing it as soon as Morocco joins a small group of countries picked up by Trump to maintain global peace.

The real question is not why Morocco was invited to an international peace Board, but why Algeria was not. The answer is clear. The United States has no reason to include in a peace mechanism a regime whose diplomacy feeds on false propaganda and engages constantly in hostile campaigns against its neighbors.

A Peace Council is designed to bring together countries capable of uniting, defusing tension and de-escalating crisis, and does not need exporters of terrorism and destabilization.

While Morocco advocates mediation and dialogue, Algeria is tirelessly engaged in destabilization plots against its neighbors. Morocco builds impactful and “win-win” international partnerships. Algeria locks itself into sterile rhetoric and deceptive propaganda to deflect the public attention from its own failures amid deepening socioeconomic and political crises.

As Morocco proposes realistic and feasible solutions, Algeria fuels separatism, terrorism and divisions.

Thus, the exclusion of Algiers from U.S.-led Peace Council is more than a diplomatic slap on the face of the Algerian rulers. It deepens further their international isolation.

While Rabat is strengthening its strategic alliances, hosting major international events, launching landmark initiatives and consolidating its position on key global issues, Algerian junta remains detached from reality, helplessly seeing their country’s influence eroding, unable to adapt to new realities.

With the fall of their allies, Assad dictatorship, Maduro and Iranian proxies, the Algerian rulers feel the international pressure mounting, pushing them to the corner. No more games. The clock is ticking to comply, open up and start peaceful transformation or face regime!
