Rabat hosts finals of Women’s Futsal AFCON 2025 April 22-30

The 2025 Women’s Futsal Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) will be held at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced on Monday.

The tournament, running from April 22 to 30, will feature nine of Africa’s top teams, including Angola, Namibia, Guinea, Madagascar, Senegal, Cameroon, Tanzania, and Egypt, alongside host nation Morocco.

The group winners will advance directly to the semifinals, with the best second-place team across all groups securing the final spot in the last four.

The two finalists will automatically qualify for the inaugural FIFA Women’s Futsal World Cup, set to take place in the Philippines from November 27 to December 7, 2025.

This edition marks the first-ever Women’s Futsal AFCON, as CAF seeks to boost the development of women’s futsal across the continent.
