Morocco tops medal table at 2024 Arab U23 Athletics Championships

Morocco finished at the top of the medal count in the Under-23 Arab Athletics Championships, held in the Egyptian city of Ismailia July 5-9.

Morocco won this competition for the second consecutive time, with 32 medals, including 16 gold, 11 silver, and 5 bronze.

It surpassed the host country, Egypt, which gleaned 39 medals (12 gold, 16 silver, and 11 bronze), and Algeria, which won 15 medals (6 gold and 9 bronze).

Athletes representing 12 Arab countries took part in the championship.
