OIC official commends Moroccan King’s leading role in support of Al Quds
Chairman of the Council of Secretaries of the Humanitarian Funds of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Hassan Al-Thani, commended the “leading” role of King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al Quds Committee, in supporting the Holy City, its inhabitants and its institutions.
During a visit to the headquarters in Rabat of Bayt Mal Al Qods Asharif Agency, Sheikh Abdulaziz Al Thani welcomed the social and humanitarian actions undertaken by the institution in Al Qods, calling for the exploration of cooperation and coordination opportunities between the two parties.
The chairman of the Council of Secretaries of OIC Humanitarian Funds stressed the importance of developing relations between the two parties in the service of Palestine in general, and the inhabitants of Al Quds in particular.
During the visit, managing director of Bayt Mal Al Quds Asharif Agency, Mohamed Salem Cherkaoui, surveyed the Agency’s activities in 2023, under the direct supervision of King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, as well as the outlook for 2024, based on a realistic approach combining ambition and rationalization.
