“Morocco, Kingdom of Light”, new beau livre by Assouline publisher
“Morocco, Kingdom of Light” is the title of a new Coffee Table book released by New York-based luxury publisher Assouline, which celebrates the rich and diverse culture of a Kingdom whose authenticity is “endless”.
Embellished with more than 200 illustrations, the 312-page book “takes readers on a journey through this enchanting country” which is Morocco, indicates the publisher, noting that the “Kingdom of light” is an “eternal” source of inspiration.
Morocco provides a “profound” experience to visitors, inspiring a myriad of world artists, mainly the French painter Eugène Delacroix, notes the publisher.
Citing the president of the National Foundation of Museums (FNM), Mehdi Qotbi, the publisher states out, in its presentation, that Morocco “is a hymn to light, a hymn to colors, and a hymn to living together that leaves an imprint in our memories forever.”
Echoing the release of the book, Forbes indicates that Assouline opens new windows into Morocco’s rich culture and offers the readers the chance to explore the Kingdom’s beautiful cities and their traditional crafts.
The new book is designed to take readers on a tour across Morocco, from the lively streets of Marrakech to the serene Atlas Mountains, writes the American magazine.
Assouline has already published two other books on Morocco: “Marrakech Flair” (2020) and “Moroccan Decorative Arts” (2023).
