Spanish Aciturri aeronautics group acquires moroccan GOAM, moves to Casablanca
The Spanish aerospace group Aciturri Aeroengines moved into Casablanca following the acquisition of the Moroccan company GOAM Industrie.
“Aciturri Aeroengines has officially acquired GOAM Industrie, a manufacturer of engine components located in Casablanca’s Midpark, specializing in the production of turbine and aircraft engine parts,” stated the Spanish group in a statement posted on the social network X.
This acquisition marks a new phase in Aciturri’s internationalization process and its goal to expand its technological and industrial capabilities in aero-engines for leading aircraft engine manufacturers such as Safran, Rolls Royce, General Electric, and Pratt & Whitney, the group said.
It will also provide Aciturri Aeroengines with “the technological and industrial resources necessary to broaden the portfolio of products and services offered by Aeroengines to the international market.”
This represents Aciturri’s second operation of this kind, following its acquisition of Malichaud Atlantique, another company in the same sector, late last year.
