Morocco’s King offers condolences to Sovereign of Bahrain over soldiers’ death
Mohammed VI has sent a message of condolences and sympathy to the King Hamad Ben Issa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, following the death of two Bahraini soldiers while they were fulfilling their Arab solidarity duty in defending the sovereignty of Yemen.
In this message, the Sovereign expressed to the King of Bahrain, and through him to the bereaved families and the brotherly Bahraini people, his deep condolences and sincere feelings of solidarity and compassion, imploring the Almighty to surround the two martyrs with his infinite mercy, to welcome them into his vast paradise and to grant patience and solace to their families, and speedy recovery to the injured.
The King reaffirmed that the Kingdom of Morocco always stands by the brotherly Kingdom of Bahrain, and implored the Almighty to preserve the Bahraini Sovereign and people and to grant them health, serenity, and long life.
The two Bahraini army personnel were killed and many others were injured in a terrorist attack that targeted forces participating in operations Decisive Storm and Restore Hope on the southern border of Saudi Arabia.
Morocco has also condemned, in a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, the despicable terrorist act targeting the positions of Bahraini forces taking part in the operation on the southern border of Saudi Arabia.
“The Kingdom of Morocco affirms its full and constant solidarity with the brotherly Kingdom of Bahrain and stands by its side to confront this cowardly act of terrorism,” said the statement.
