US President praises, in phone call with King Mohammed VI, the swift, efficient management of earthquake

King Mohammed VI received a phone call from the President of the United States of America, Joseph R. Biden, on Monday.

During the call, the US president expressed his personal condolences, as well as those of the American people and government, to the Sovereign and to the Moroccan people, following the painful earthquake that struck several provinces of the Kingdom.

President Biden took this opportunity to praise the swift and efficient management, in accordance with the royal directives, of the consequences of this natural disaster of such a magnitude.

President Biden also expressed the readiness of the United States of America to provide the necessary assistance and support to the Kingdom based on the needs identified by Moroccan authorities and as part of the comprehensive action plan deployed by the Kingdom to address this tragedy.
