U.S.-Jewish Delegation Visiting Morocco, Beacon of Peace and Tolerance

A delegation from the American Jewish Committee conferred on Wednesday in Rabat with Moroccan Foreign minister Nasser Bourita on U.S.-Moroccan relations and latest developments on regional & international scene.

This is the third visit by AJC to the North African Kingdom since the signing of the Abraham Accords in December 2020 between the United States, Israel and Morocco.

Led by Jason Isaacson, the delegation of the American Jewish Committee met on Tuesday with Speaker of the House of Representatives Rachid Talbi Alami and Speaker of the House of Advisors Al-Naam Mayara.

Mr. Isaacson has praised, on this occasion, the leadership of King Mohammed VI, stressing the importance of the Moroccan Jewish links to the United States.

The AJC visited the Tangier’s Jewish Museum on May 1, marking the first day of Jewish American Heritage Month.
