Saudi Arabia, Morocco agree to enhance judicial cooperation

The Moroccan and Saudi Public Prosecution authorities have agreed to foster cooperation ties and exchange experiences in the fight against transnational organized crime, money laundering and cybercrimes.

The agreement was inked in Rabat by President of the Moroccan public prosecutor’ Office Hassa Daki and Saudi Attorney General Saud Bin Abdallah Al-Mujab.

The two countries’ public prosecution bodies pledge to strengthen coordination and cooperation in transnational prosecution of criminals and hold joint capacity building workshops for magistrates from both countries.

Morocco has signed similar cooperation accords with several countries to consolidate international legal and judicial cooperation to combat various forms of crime, especially drug trafficking, the financing of terrorism, human trafficking…
