Leading European clubs covet Atlas Lion stars after World Cup
Many leading European clubs from different premier leagues are racing to add Atlas Lion stars that marked Morocco’s unparalleled run in Qatar World Cup.
One of the revelations of the tournament was Azzedine Ounahi who mastered the midfield with skillful tackles commanding performances. He is now poised to leave his team Angers which languished in the bottom of the French premier league.

The 26-year-old midfielder now plays in Italy’s Fiorentina but his performance has drawn limelight of major European clubs coveting his skill.
Fiorentina want €45million for Morocco midfielder Sofyan Amrabat, with Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham interested, according to sports media.
Goal keeper Yassine Bounoi was also one of the standout performers throughout the tournament stopping three penalty shots during the game against Spain.
He has received interest from Bayerm Munich as well as the UK’s Aston Villa.
As for Hakim Ziyech, he has been on the radar of Milan and Newcastle United after he managed to captain the Moroccan team following Saiss injury filling many up and front roles.
