The 22-year old player, a graduate of Mohammed VI football academy near Rabat, has received offers from Napoli, Leicester, Sevilla as well as Olympique Marseille.

Leicester in particular is offering a price tag of 39 million pounds for the highly-rated midfielder, a much-needed amount to feed the depleted coffers of Angers.

However, Sports media Foot Mercato claimed that Napoli are “on pole” to sign the midfielder but that both Inter Milan and Marseille are preparing to “ambush” the move.

Nickmamed the “warrior” thanks to his tireless defensive skills, Amrabat was the only Atlas Lion to have played all seven world cup games unsubstituted.

The 26-year-old midfielder now plays in Italy’s Fiorentina but his performance has drawn limelight of major European clubs coveting his skill.

Fiorentina want €45million for Morocco midfielder Sofyan Amrabat, with Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham interested, according to sports media.
