Morocco training senior UAE law enforcement officers
A group of senior Emirati police officers started this Monday a two-month training at the Royal Moroccan Police Institute within the frame of the exchange of expertise and partnership sealed between the two countries’ police institutions.
The advanced training includes theoretical and practical courses on judiciary policing, the fight against crimes and forensic science. It is part of a security cooperation program focusing on sharing expertise and experiences in police training in a series of specialized fields.
The joint Moroccan-Emirati cooperation program puts emphasis on the role of science and new technologies in the policemen training. It also includes the exchange of intelligence to counter terror plots and visits between the two countries’ security executives as well as training on the tactics of maintaining public order.
The training will enable the UAE officers to benefit from Morocco’s experience in the fight against terrorist organizations and cross-border crime.
