Morocco’s King addresses messages to presidents of Gabon, RDC

King Mohammed VI has addressed messages to President of Gabon Ali Bongo Ondimba and to President of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi.

The royal message were conveyed by Minister of Economic Inclusion Younes Sekkouri.

The audiences with the Gabonese Head of State in Libreville and with President Tshisekedi in Kinshasa provided an opportunity for the Moroccan official to highlight the Kingdom’s excellent relations with the two African States as well as the friendship binding King Mohammed VI and the Presidents of Gabon and RDC.

According to the Congolese news agency ACP, which quoted a source from the presidency, talks between the Congolese Head of State and the Moroccan official were an opportunity to review the excellent relations existing between the two countries, and between King Mohammed VI and President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi.

Talks also covered the security situation in the eastern part of the DRC. In this connection, Sekkouri underlined that the King holds firmly to the principles of sovereignty and integrity and is intransigent when it comes to the respect of these principles, underlines the RDC presidency on its twitter account.

During the talks with President Ali Bongo that surveyed issues of mutual interest the Moroccan official renewed Morocco’s willingness to share its experience in all the sectors of activity requested by Gabon, primarily areas related to youth, vocational training, IT, SMEs-SMIs, among others, in which Morocco has proven expertise.
