Spanish low-cost Vueling airline to connect Bilbao & Marrakech

The low-cost Spanish airline Vueling announced on Friday the launch next March of a new connection between the cities of Bilbao and Marrakech.

The new air connection, which will be inaugurated on March 26, will be operated by Vueling at the rate of two weekly flights on Thursdays and Sundays, the carrier said in a press release.

Marrakech is one of the most attractive tourist destinations in North Africa, as well as one of the most important cultural centers in the country, thanks to its palaces, mosques and gastronomy, the company pointed out.

For these reasons, Vueling has decided to open a line between Bilbao and this city, a launch that is part of its transformation plan, more precisely of the advanced network design project, it said.

The airline seeks to put “particular emphasis” on the seasonal adjustment of its offer, by offering its customers connections to “attractive destinations throughout the year”, including the city of Marrakech.

Vueling Airlines is a Spanish low-cost airline founded in 2004 and headquartered in El Prat de Llobregat, near Barcelona.

The company offers more than 300 routes in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. It has twenty-two bases, eight of which are located outside Spain.
