Morocco-Germany: Strong relationship & consultations on issues of common interest

King Mohammed VI has underlined the importance Morocco places on strengthening relations of consultation and coordination with “friendly” Germany on various issues of common interest.

In a congratulatory message sent to German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier on the occasion of his country’s National Day, the Moroccan Sovereign offered his warmest congratulations to Mr. Steinmeier and expressed his sincere wishes for further progress and prosperity to the German people.

The King also voiced Morocco’s readiness to work with Germany to contribute together to international efforts engaged to address the economic, climate changes and security challenges the world is facing.

The Monarch hailed the “strong relations of friendship and mutual esteem” binding the two countries, commending the common determination to consolidate these relations by moving forward in the partnership and fruitful cooperation between Rabat and Berlin in various sectors serving the shared interest of the Moroccan and German friendly peoples.
