Ecuador FM: Morocco, a reference country in Maghreb & Africa

Morocco is a reference country in the Maghreb region and in the African continent, said Ecuador’s foreign minister Mauricio Montalvo at a meeting held lately in Quito with Moroccan ambassador to Ecuador, Ms. Farida Loudaya.

During the meeting, the Ecuadorian top diplomat also stressed the importance of the geostrategic position of the North African Kingdom and praised its socioeconomic development and political stability.

Talks between the two sides covered various topics related to bilateral relations and ways of boosting cooperation prospects between the two countries in several sectors of common interest, including trade and tourism.
