Covid-19: Moroccans to get a third vaccine jab
A third dose of the anti-covid-19 vaccine will be administered to Moroccans as part of the national vaccination campaign at the recommendation of the Scientific Committee.
The Ministry of Health announced that in accordance with the recommendations of the National Scientific Committee and international scientific recommendations, a third dose of the vaccine against the Covid 19 virus will be administered, as part of the national vaccination campaign.
The Ministry of Health indicated, in a statement that this national vaccination campaign has known, since its inception, a positive dynamic, and a wide participation of citizens.
“Citizens will be informed of the procedures and modalities to benefit from this third dose, as well as the target groups,” the statement said.
“Given the importance of strengthening immunity for all Moroccans and foreigners residing in Morocco, and in order to protect themselves and their families from the Covid-19 infection, they are invited to get involved in this process,” the Ministry said.
The number of fully vaccinated people (1st and 2nd doses) now stands at 19,197,916, while the number of those having received one jab stands at over 22.71 million.
