Tunisia, France to hold High Cooperation Council early June

Tunisia and France will hold June 2-3 the third joint High Council of Cooperation to be marked by a number of agreements.

French Premier Jean Castex will head the French delegation for the high-level conference that takes place every two years under the chairmanship of the two countries’ Prime Ministers.

The third joint High Council will focus on economic development, security, education, training, culture and International Organization of La Francophonie.

Tunisia is set to host the 18th La Francophonie summit, a gathering of francophone countries and regions, in Djerba in November.

According to press reports, the June meeting will be marked by the signing of a set of partnership and economic agreements spanning academic, educational and professional training fields.
