The city of Dakhla, pearl of the Moroccan Sahara, has been voted “Dream Region 2021” during a ceremony organized lately by online news outlet “Tourisma Post”, the National Confederation of Tourism (CNT) and Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT).
Dakhla has won the distinction following a survey conducted last summer by CNT and Tourisma Post, showing a growing interest of tourists for this Sahara destination.
The leaders of CNT and of ONMT went to Dakhla to hand the trophies to city officials and tourism professionals of the region.
Foreign tourists are attracted by Dakhla’s white sand dunes, crystal clear beaches, renowned seafood, the hospitality of the local inhabitants and beautiful Sahara desert. It is also a paradise for recreational sailing, power boating, water sports, windsurfing, kite-surfing…
This city is also becoming a gateway for investment in Africa wherein business opportunities are thriving.
